Our Partner Projects - Beyond the Parish

As a parish we are also committed to supporting charitable work undertaken by Christian organisations. Through United for Mission (UFM) we support a missionary family in Senegal, and we continure to support the Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS), the Anglican Mission in England(AMiE) and the Children’s Society. In addition, the PCC has decided to contribute to the work of the Christian Institute.

UFM Worldwide - Ténébou and Bethan Manga, Casamance, Senegal

Having grown up in this region, Ténébou is desperate for his people to know the freedom offered by Christ. Though from the UK, Bethan has had a heart for ministry in Africa since childhood and her UK medical training gave her the opportunity to serve in the Casamance.

Ténébou and Bethan have a shared passion for using their medical training to help people escape the bonds of animism. Building a clinic in Djabir will allow them to show the love of Jesus through practical service, combining their heart for the people with their vocational gifts and training.

The Christian Institute

The Christian Institute exists for “the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom” and “the advancement of education”.

The Christian Institute is a nondenominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. We are supported by individuals and churches throughout the UK.

We believe that the Bible is the supreme authority for all of life and we hold to the inerrancy of Scripture. We are committed to upholding the sanctity of life from conception.
