Our Partner Projects - Beyond the Parish

As a parish we are also committed to supporting charitable work undertaken by Christian organisations. We continued to support Tearfund (meeting our commitment to the Warmis Project in Peru), the Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS), the Anglican Mission in England(AMiE) and the Children’s Society. In addition, the PCC has decided to contribute to the work of the Christian Institute.

Tearfund - Emmanuel Hospital Association, India

The Parish of Winklebury and Worting is a Tearfund Connected Church with the Emmanuel Hospital Association, India. EHA began as a mission hospital, but has since expanded into the field of community development in response to the needs of local people, fighting issues such as unemployment and trafficking.

EHA is helping families to earn an income where they are, so that they have enough food to eat and are no longer dependent on the life promised by traffickers in order to survive.

The Christian Institute

The Christian Institute exists for “the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom” and “the advancement of education”.

The Christian Institute is a nondenominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. We are supported by individuals and churches throughout the UK.

We believe that the Bible is the supreme authority for all of life and we hold to the inerrancy of Scripture. We are committed to upholding the sanctity of life from conception.

The Anglican Mission in England () is a network of Anglican churches whose priority is church planting. We are an Anglican mission society that seeks to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, principally in England. We are committed to supporting Anglican churches and individuals, both outside and within the present structures of the Church of England.
